Eastmouth is a small town in Maine, located about 30 miles south of Eastport in Washington County, Maine. The area was originally, and still is, inhabited by the Passamaquoddy and Penobscot Indians. Eastport has an airport: Eastport Municipal Airport.

Police services are provided by the Sheriff’s office of Washington County, as the town is too small to have its own police department.

Eastmouth has two cemeteries – one is the Catholic cemetery of  St. Gabriels, the other is a non-denominational cemetery located to the southeast of the docks.

The town has a lighthouse that stands 62 feet tall.

There is a street intersecting Main street called “The Burns” due to a local legend that the street caught fire due to street racers in the 1980’s.
